Why don't you use doorway pages in search engine optimization?

Doorway pages are considered spam by most search engines. Anything that is considered spam by one search engine, will not be used at all on any of them! CybrConsult has always had a very clean reputation in the industry and in the human edited directories such as ODP, JoeAnt, Zeal, Illumirate, and even when Go.com was a human edited directory. It will stay clean!

Why should I use search engine optimization, I have a web site, and used a free submission tool to hundreds of search engines, isn't that enough?

Submitting and Optimization are not the same thing. It is not enough to just have a web site and use a free submission tool. Its not how much you submit to the search engines, or how many of the search engines you submitted to. The bottom line is, its the ranking in the search engines that bring traffic to your web site. If your site isn't optimized with the best keywords for your business, no amount of submission will bring you the targeted traffic you want.
